In the upper town of Klosterneuburg, in a quiet and rural location, stands a house of original character. Built on idyllic farm land, in the midst of historic wineries, AGNES & LEOPOLD represents the former winegrowing town and combines the best of many worlds.
Agnesstrasse is one of the oldest settlement areas of Klosterneuburg. Along this street ran the monastery’s wooden tubular water pipe from the Wolfsgraben, in the area which was called “Im Neusiedl” around 1192 .

With great attention to detail, new life is being breathed into the 19th century foundations. The extensive renovation of the front house and the construction of four new courtyard houses bring contemporary elements into historical proportions.
In its design language AGNES & LEOPOLD is reminiscent of an agricultural farm from around 1900. The historic exterior and interior building structure is being renovated in a contemporary manner by using the finest materials, but still preserving the existing structure.
